My work has been exhibited via three different arts organizations in the state of Maryland. Thumbnail photos of the artwork is included here, but other photos and further details can be found on the galleries page.

I joined the Maryland Federation of Arts (MFA) in 2019 and have had five different works selected for six different exhibitions over the two-year time period of 2019-2020.

My work titled “Elbow Room” -- shown here, and featured under the “Awards” tab on this website -- was selected for three of those seven shows .

Three of my works of art were, in fact, chosen to be exhibited in one single show at MFA’s Gallery 564 in Severna Park, Maryland. Those three works included “Elbow Room,” along with “Meltdown?” and “Fermenting Storm,” which are displayed here.

Another of my paintings, “Foggy Wait,” shown here, was selected for two different FMA exhibitions. For each of those two shows this painting was selected from more than 250 artworks submitted by over 75 artists from 11 states, and the District of Columbia. “Foggy Wait” was one of only 62 works selected for the one show, and just one of 45 selected by the juror for the other show.

A second Maryland organization that has chosen to exhibit two of my paintings is the City of Gaithersburg, Maryland -- which operates three art galleries in its city-owned buildings. “Fermenting Storm,” shown above, was selected for one of their 2020 shows titled “Building Bridges: Connecting Our Global Roots.” And “Meltdown?” shown above -- and shown here, again, from two different perspectives -- was recently selected for a Gaithersburg show titled "Pushing Boundaries" which is scheduled for early 2022.

The third arts organization that helps me show my work is the Montgomery County Arts Association (MAA). “Montgomery” is the county in Maryland where I live and the county that is home to the City of Gaithersburg which is referenced above. The first MAA show for which one of my paintings was selected is actually being held at a winery a few miles from my home.

The winery focused show is a bit of a coincidence given that I have just recently begun to work in the medium of wine of canvas. The “Fermenting Storm” painting discussed above was created with wine but wasn’t really eligible for this show since the show’s focus was oriented to either local Maryland themes or abstract art. Given my experimentation with abstract wine painting -- the artwork shown here -- “Wine Blizzard” – was submitted for the show … and it will be one of only a dozen painting displayed at the winery’s inaugural show.

This painting was created using red wine mixed with white oil paint on canvas.
